Growing Instructions
Scots Pine grows best in full sun and well-drained, slightly acidic soils, but it is highly adaptable and will tolerate poorer or sandy soils.
It’s a fast-growing, hardy tree that withstands cold, wind, and drought once established. Though not invasive, it can grow quite large, so give it plenty of space. It’s an excellent support species in a rewilding project or shelterbelt, and its timber, resin, and habitat value make it a valuable multi-purpose tree.
