Atomic Grape Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is offered here as a seed packet of approximately 15 seeds (0.04g), an extraordinary heirloom variety grown for its dazzling colour and complex flavour. The elongated fruits ripen through deep green and purple tones streaked with red, blue, and gold, with firm, sweet flesh well suited to fresh eating, roasting, or adding colour to salads. An indeterminate (vining) plant reaching 1.5–2 metres tall, it crops heavily throughout summer and thrives in a greenhouse or polytunnel, or a sheltered, sunny spot outdoors in warmer areas. As a genetically diverse, open-pollinated heirloom, it's well suited to saving true-to-type seed for future seasons. A real talking-point crop for Irish gardeners and polytunnel growers alike.

Sowing Instructions
Sow indoors from February to April, 0.5cm deep in trays or pots of moist, peat-free seed compost, keeping warm at 20–25°C with good light until germination, which takes 7–14 days. Transplant seedlings into individual pots once large enough to handle, then plant out after the last frost, spacing 45–60cm apart with strong supports in place. Water regularly, feed weekly once fruiting, and remove side shoots for the best yields. Store seeds cool and dry until sowing.
