Native Irish Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) is offered here as a seed packet of approximately 300 seeds (0.03g), a tall, elegant biennial wildflower native to Ireland and much of western Europe. In its second year it sends up striking spires of tubular, pink-purple blooms speckled inside with darker markings, rising 90–150cm high and flowering from June to August. Loved by bumblebees and other long-tongued pollinators, it's a cornerstone of Irish woodland and hedgerow biodiversity. Foxglove thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil, though it tolerates a wide range of conditions once established, self-seeding readily to form natural drifts. A reliable choice for wild gardens, woodland edges, and cottage borders. Note: all parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested.

Sowing Instructions
Seeds are tiny and dust-like. Sow from February to July on the surface of moist compost or fine soil, pressing gently but not covering, as light aids germination. Keep evenly moist until seedlings appear, usually within 2–4 weeks, then transplant to 30–40cm spacing and allow plants to establish in their first year before flowering in the second. Store seeds cool and dry until sowing. Note: all parts of the foxglove plant are poisonous if ingested — handle with care and keep away from children and pets.
