€9.95
Teasel (Dipsacus fullonum) is a tall, biennial plant in the Caprifoliaceae (honeysuckle) family, known for its dramatic spiny flower heads and sculptural form. It grows up to 2 metres tall in its second year, producing pale purple flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Traditionally, teasel has been used in herbal medicine, especially in relation to joint and muscle health. The dried seed heads also feed birds like goldfinches in winter.

Growing Instructions
Teasel thrives in full sun and well-drained to damp soils, and it tolerates poor or disturbed ground easily.
It self-seeds readily and can naturalise quickly, so deadhead if you wish to limit spreading—though it’s not aggressively invasive. Ideal for wildflower meadows, herbal gardens, and wildlife-friendly spaces where it adds both ecological and visual value.
