Anise hyssop seeds
€2.95
Anise Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum) is offered here as a seed packet of approximately 100 seeds (0.11g). A fragrant North American perennial herb, it grows 60–100cm tall, sending up upright spikes of violet-blue flowers from midsummer to early autumn with a sweet anise-mint scent. The edible leaves and blossoms add a light liquorice note to teas, desserts and salads, and dry well for herbal infusions. Highly attractive to bees and butterflies, it is one of the best perennial herbs for a pollinator garden. Once established it tolerates drought and returns reliably year after year with minimal care. A hardworking addition to herb beds, borders and wildlife gardens across Ireland and the UK.

Sowing Instructions
Seed is tiny and best sown on the surface of moist compost from February to May, pressed in gently but left uncovered, as light aids germination. Keep at 18–22°C and evenly moist until seedlings appear in 10–20 days. Transplant to 25–30cm spacing once large enough to handle, in full sun and well-drained soil. Cut back after flowering to encourage bushier growth. Store seed cool and dry until sowing.
