Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) is a hardy, aromatic perennial herb in the Asteraceae family. Native to Europe and widely naturalised, it can grow up to 1.5–2 metres tall with deeply lobed, silvery-green leaves and tall spikes of small flowers. Long used in traditional herbalism and folklore, mugwort is also valued for attracting beneficial insects and providing habitat in wild gardens.

Growing Instructions
Mugwort thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and it’s tolerant of poor, dry, or disturbed ground.
It spreads by both rhizomes and seed, so it’s best planted where it can roam or kept in check with occasional digging or pruning. Cut back in late summer to control height and encourage fresh growth. A great companion in herbal gardens, food forests, or low-maintenance borders.
