€6.95
Oregano (Origanum vulgare) is a hardy perennial culinary herb in the Lamiaceae family. It typically reaches around 30–60 cm in height and produces small aromatic leaves with a warm, savoury flavour that is widely used in Mediterranean cooking. In summer, it can produce clusters of small pink to purple flowers that are attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Oregano is excellent for fresh or dried use in sauces, soups, stews, roasted vegetables, marinades, pizzas, herb teas, and edible landscaping.

Growing instructions
Oregano thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained soil, doing especially well in lighter, drier soils once established. Avoid overly wet or heavy ground, as good drainage is important for healthy growth. Water regularly while the plant is establishing, then reduce watering, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Harvest leaves as needed during the growing season, cutting stems back to encourage bushier growth. Oregano is ideal for herb gardens, sunny borders, raised beds, rock gardens, containers, food forests, and pollinator-friendly planting.
