Ragged Robin
€4.95
Ragged Robin (Silene flos-cuculi), formerly known as Lychnis flos-cuculi, is a beautiful herbaceous perennial wildflower in the Caryophyllaceae family. It typically reaches 30–75 cm in height and produces delicate pink flowers with finely cut, ragged-looking petals from late spring into summer. Its airy, natural form makes it a lovely addition to wildlife gardens, cottage gardens, meadow-style planting, pond edges, damp borders, and naturalistic landscapes. The flowers are attractive to pollinators and bring a soft, wild beauty to the garden.

Growing Instructions
Ragged Robin thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, fertile soil that does not dry out completely. It is especially well suited to damp areas, such as pond edges, rain gardens, swales, and moist meadow plantings. Water regularly during dry periods, especially while the plant is establishing. Deadhead spent flowers to keep the plant tidy, or leave some seed heads if you would like it to self-seed naturally. Once established, Ragged Robin is a hardy, low-maintenance perennial that adds colour, movement, and biodiversity to the garden.
