Ragged Robin (Silene flos-cuculi), formerly Lychnis flos-cuculi, is a hardy herbaceous perennial wildflower, offered here as a young potted plant in a small to medium pot. It forms an airy clump 30 to 75 cm tall, topped from late spring into summer with delicate pink flowers whose narrow, deeply cut petals give the plant its ragged, wild look. The blooms are a good nectar source for bees and other pollinators, and its loose, natural form suits informal planting schemes. Best suited to reliably moist ground, it thrives beside ponds and in damp meadows and borders. A charming choice for wildlife gardens, pond margins and naturalistic planting across Ireland and the UK.

Growing Instructions
Grow in full sun to partial shade in moist, fertile soil that does not dry out, such as pond edges, rain gardens or damp meadow plantings. Water well during dry spells, particularly while plants are establishing. Deadhead to keep growth tidy, or leave some seed heads if you would like it to self-seed naturally. Once settled, Ragged Robin is a hardy, low-maintenance perennial that returns reliably each year.
