Growing Instructions
A fast-growing, multi-stemmed shrub or small tree reaching 4–6 metres tall, the cobnut is both ornamental and productive. Its yellow catkins appear in early spring before the leaves, providing early pollen for bees, while the nuts develop through summer within soft green husks that turn golden as they ripen.
Cobnut trees thrive in full sun to partial shade and prefer moist, well-drained soils, though they tolerate a wide range of conditions.
