Growing instructions
Rhubarb is a hungry and thirsty plant. Rhubarb prefers full sun to partial shade and thrives in fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Plant crowns in early spring or autumn, spacing them about 1 metre apart. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, and mulch to retain moisture. Cut back old leaves in late winter to encourage fresh growth. A robust and productive perennial for edible gardens and food forests.
