Growing Instructions

Red Raspberry grows best in full sun and moist, well-drained, fertile soil, ideally slightly acidic.

It spreads readily through suckers, so regular pruning and thinning are needed to keep it manageable. Fruit is produced on second-year canes (floricanes) or first-year canes (primocanes) depending on the variety. Cut back fruited canes after harvest. A rewarding and productive choice for food forests, hedgerows, or home gardens.
