Growing Instructions
Plant bare-root between November and March, or from a pot the rest of the year, in full sun and moist, fertile, well-drained soil, ideally slightly acidic. Water well while establishing. Canes spread readily by suckering, so thin regularly to keep growth manageable and airflow good. Depending on variety, fruit forms on second-year or first-year canes; cut back fruited canes after harvest to encourage strong new growth for the following season.
